Cam's LEGO Birthday Party
I can't believe that my first born is 10 years old! Where has the time gone?
To make the invitations, I made each letter of Cam's name from LEGO® bricks and photographed it. I'll admit, I was inspired by some beautiful invites I saw on etsy... I also made other letters so I could make a 'welcome' and a 'happy birthday' banner.
I bought a box of LEGO® at BigW and then bought some wheels, axles and steering wheels on ebay. Then divided them all up to make the kits. I used my silhouette cutter to make the boxes. The LEGO® kits were used during the games and each child got to take home their kit.
Each child received a box of LEGO® and we used that LEGO® to play 'Creationary'. I gave each child a card from the game and they had to make one of the vehicles. Then everyone got to guess what each person made. The kids loved this.
I got most of the ideas for the party from various blogs and internet sites after googling "lego parties". So thankful for google!
