Vacation USA - May 2010 - Chicago to Lancaster PA

We flew to Chicago.

We had planned on spending two days exploring the city, but Nath was feeling really sick after the flight and the weather on our second day was really wet and windy so we didn't get to see very much of the 'windy city'.

The little that we did see we loved.

Chicago is a lot like Melbourne.

We hope to go back there again one day and go to Navy Pier and see other sites around the city.

From Chicago we drove south to Cincinnati where we went to the Creation Science Museum.

We drove through some gorgeous countryside on our way to Lancaster PA.

We loved how green everything was.

The Amish farms were just beautiful!

We stayed at the Red Caboose Motel in Ronks, near Lancaster PA. The boys loved it - especially Cam who LOVES trains!

I'm sure that the kids had fun in Chicago! For a change of pace, that is an ideal place to travel to, due to the vintage feel of the train yard motel and the vast field of greens.
